Great Northern Empire Builder Passenger Train
Part of the NEW "Trains of Fame" collection, Smiling Wombat presents the iconic Great Northern Empire Builder engine which was used on the famous"Empire Builder". The "Empire Builder" ran from Chicago to Seattle.
The Great Northern Empire Builder is now part of the "Amtrak" Passenger System
The Famous Great Northern Empire Builder, a scenic rail cruise, operated over the Great Northern Railroad. The train was named for the Great Northern's founder and owner James J. Hill. He was called the "Empire Builder" due to his building railroads from Chicago to the Pacific Northwest.
